Welcome to Fencing Club Trekanten!

The club Fægteklubben Trekanten (Trekanten Fencing Club) was founded in 1929. Today, 70 years later, it is the largest club in Scandinavia with it's around 250 members. Approximately half of these are children. The largest part of the members practice fencing on a non-competive level. Nevertheless the club has also been home to some the greatest Danish fencers, including Olympic - and World Championship medalists. The website Our main purposes with this website are to spread information about fencing as a modern sport and to allow foreign fencers to sign up for our international competitions via the net. This English version of the site is a "light" edition of the original Danish site containing a detailed description of the sport, including weapons, rules, member profiles, results, and links. As these parts are still being translated they will follow later. This is a good reason to revisit us in the near future as you will find www.trekanten.org to be one of the most comprehensive on-line guides to fencing!
